BHP had developed the Dash Maintainer Tool, which allowed machine inspections to be performed at a safe distance. They needed hardware that could interface with the digital tools, to ensure the inspectors could connect to the machine remotely.
The Technical Solution
Our team of electrical engineers & industrial designers developed a customised tech hardware product with the following key features:
Ruggedised enclosure for installation on the undercarriage of moving mining vehicles
Ruggedised connectors and supporting electronics
Integrates with BHPs existing upstream edge computing system
The Outcome
BHP was able to successfully commerialise the Dash Maintainer Tool and has been installed on over 20 vehicles. For more information contact BHP
