The Customer
Founded over 140 years ago in the Victorian gold fields, Orica is one of the world's largest explosives provider specialising in blasting systems, mining chemicals and geotechnical monitoring for mine sites around the world.
The Problem
Orica had successfully demonstrated the technology and business case with around 6 prototype units deployed in the field. However, each of the units was taking over 1 month to build and required the original design team to complete the assembly. This meant the FRAGTrack™ project was carrying a high amount of key person risk with its design team and were unable to continue developing new solutions.
The Technical Solution
Our team of manufacturing technicians in conjunction with our design team helped FRAGTrack™ to achieve:
