Nextcore began as an Australian-based Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) operations company in 2012 as one of the early adopters of UAV based survey technology. They have since gone on to develop their own techniques for creating quality point clouds and orthomosaic images using UAVs
The Nextcore team had a solid software back end however did not have the required resources to rapidly create a new hardware stack that was going to position them as a market leading provider of mobile LiDAR surveying
