Founded over 140 years ago in the Victorian gold fields, Orica is one of the world’s largest explosives provider specialising in blasting systems, mining chemicals and geotechnical monitoring for mine sites around the world.
Bulk explosives is considered a commodity in mining so in order to win and maintain contracts, suppliers must bring additional value to the mine. Orica’s customers requested a higher degree of mobile mixing consistency and data driven insights to feed back into their mine planning. However, Orica is a fundamentally a chemicals business and does not have the skills in house to develop the advanced software + electronics required.

Integration with existing Orica planning, data analysis and billing systems
